Michael Resetar is an accomplished performer on viola and violin, giving several solo recitals and chamber concerts in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria. He has performed in all different venues across the world, from New York's Carnegie Hall to the Berliner Philharmonie. He has performed as soloist with Eduard Grach and the Moscovia Orchestra and served as the principal violist of the Juilliard Chamber Orchestra. His chamber performances have been broadcast live on WQXR (NYC) and WFMT (Chicago) radio stations. He has performed as a section violist with numerous orchestras such as the Cleveland Orchestra under David Zinman, the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra conducted by Gustavo Dudamel, and the Juilliard Orchestra under Marin Alsop. He received his Bachelor's degree from the Juilliard School in New York City and his Master's from the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne, Switzerland working with esteemed soloists Toby Appel and Gilad Karni. Aside from music, Michael loves traveling, cooking, and exercising.
